Chad Morris has extensive experience in the health and wellness industry as a licensed Physical Therapist and athletic trainer. Chad earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1997. Soon after, he established a working relationship with Don Perry & Co. with the vision of establishing a cutting edge practice with unmatched patient care. In 2002, Chad founded Nexus Physical Therapy. Inc., which now serves the greater San Diego area with three convenient locations (San Diego, East County, and South Bay).

Suzie graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Pasadena, CA with her B.S. in Biology: Pre-Physical therapy. She then moved to Boston, MA and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2009. Suzie is a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California and Massachusetts. Suzie's background provides Nexus with specialized skills in sports, orthopedic pre and post surgery rehabilitation, chronic pain with an emphasis in spine related pain, geriatric reconditioning and manual therapies for all the joints including the spine. Suzie is originally from Northern California and loves to play piano, sing and swing dance with her husband.
Emalee Pallis, PTA

Emalee earned her degree from Loma Linda University in 2005 and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California. She provides Nexus with special skills in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, as well as various preventative rehabilitation disciplines through methods including core strengthening, structural and postural imbalance, and aquatic therapy. Emalee is an avid outdoor athlete, with a passion for sports conditioning and climbing.
JoAnna Swensen, PTA

JoAnna earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University, specializing in Physical Education with an emphasis on Physical Therapy. In 2009, she completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Bay State College in Boston, MA. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California. JoAnna provides Nexus with diverse experience in physical therapy areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, sports rehabilitation, and post-surgery recovery. Her background is strong in multidisciplinary methods of physical therapy, which include a hands-on approach involving soft tissue massage, along with overall muscle stretching and strengthening.

Chad served with the US Navy for 9 years with time in the special forces unit. He has translated his passion to serve and protect our country to helping others in the field of physical therapy. Chad is certified as a Physical Therapist Aide with an emphasis in massage, sports rehabilitation, pre-surgery preparation and post surgery recovery. Chad also assists Nexus with provider relations as well as business development initiatives.

Leslie brings experience in organizational management, and great attention to detail. She handles the daily business office matters and human resources department from our corporate office. Leslie works closely with current and prospective providers to ensure our records, reports, and contracts are current and complete. Leslie's performance continues to help Nexus establish itself as the premier Physical Therapy practice in San Diego.

Chris is a licensed attorney (Washington D.C.) with extensive experience across multiple industries, including health and wellness, professional sports, corporate consulting, business management, sales and law. After graduating from UCLA in 2002, he obtained his JD/MBA while working with athletes as a strength and conditioning coach. Chris later established successful entrepreneurial ventures in the sports and investment industries, and brings his experience and business development skills, along with his passion to improve the lives of others to Nexus. .
